Reverse osmosis systems are not new. Most systems work the same way, look the same way and have the same basic components. The difference is the quality of the filters and membranes inside.

A reverse osmosis system converts incoming water to drinking water by removing inorganic solids (such as salts) from a solution like water. The tap water goes through a semi permeable membrane allowing only water to pass through, not the contaminants or impurities.
